WHAT IS IT?

Marple Adventure Film Festival have joined forces with SK6 Spinners for a charity film event as part of the Marple Festival of Sport!

For one night only, we’re screening the epic tale of the Flying Scotsman Graeme Obree, amongst other cycling-related talks and activities to provide inspiration, motivation and entertainment in equal measure – we’re hoping to encourage the people of Marple to find out about or join a local sports club, and to get active!

In addition to the feature film ‘The Flying Scotsman’, we’re also got Pedal Power Marple who will be talking about their top cycling hacks to make your life easier, as well as a fully licensed bar.

Tickets are just £6 (buy here), with proceeds going to 1st Marple Scout Group and Ride for Charlie – two local charities which help to get kids active and reach their potential.

WHEN IS IT?

Friday 13th April 2018, from 7:30pm

The doors will open at 7:30pm, with Pedal Power Marple on the floor at 8pm, and the main feature commencing at 8:30pm. The film has a runtime of 1h45, after which we’ll wrap things up, with last orders at 10:45pm. There will be a fully licensed bar which will be serving some fine craft ale which has been fine craft ale which has been brewed by an ex-Marple Scout.

Evening shows: Doors open 7:30pm, first film commences 8.30pm, carriages at 11pm

WHERE IS IT?

The event is taking place at Marple Scout Hut (see map) – where kids have been inspired to get outdoors, try something new, and make friends for over 109 years!

WHEN IS THE MARPLE ADVENTURE FILM FESTIVAL 2018?

We’ll be back on the weekend on November 16-17th 2018. We have a whole new set of adventurous / crazy films to inspire you to go out and challenge yourselves! Watch this space! 🙂
